First Class passengers are allowed two pieces of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 16 kg for the first piece and 8 kg for the second piece.

Carry-on baggage must be no larger than the dimensions of 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm (22″ x 17.7″ x 9.8″).

Checked Baggage

Economy Class Standard passengers are allowed one piece of free checked baggage of up to 23 kg.

Premium Class passengers are allowed two pieces of free checked baggage of up to 23 kg per piece.

Business Class passengers are allowed two pieces of checked baggage of up to 23 kg per piece.

First Class passengers are allowed three pieces of checked baggage of up to 32 kg per piece.

Check-In

Online Check-In

Passengers can check-in for their flight by using the El Al online check-in page and entering their booking number and surname. Passengers can check-in online between 24–3 hours before their scheduled flight departure time.

Airport Check-In

Passengers who are unable to check-in online or would prefer to check-in at the airport can do so by visiting one of the airport check-in desks at the airport of departure. Airport check-in closes one hour before flight departure time at all airports. However, it’s recommended that passengers arrive at check-in at least three hours before their flight is scheduled to depart.
