Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) is the main airport serving the Halifax Regional Municipality and the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. The airport is located in Enfield, about 35 km (22 miles) north of downtown Halifax. YHZ is named in honor of Robert Stanfield, a former premier of Nova Scotia and leader of the federal Progressive Conservative Party of Canada.
