McCarran International Airport is a major commercial airport located in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It is the primary airport serving the Las Vegas Valley and the surrounding area. The airport is named after Senator Pat McCarran, who was a key figure in shaping aviation policy in the United States in the mid-20th century.

McCarran International Airport has two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Terminal 1 is the original terminal and serves most domestic airlines, while Terminal 3 serves international airlines and some domestic airlines. The airport has four runways and handles more than 50 million passengers annually, making it one of the busiest airports in the United States.

In addition to passenger services, McCarran International Airport also serves as a hub for cargo and air mail operations, and is home to several fixed-base operators that provide general aviation services. The airport is located just a few miles from the Las Vegas Strip, making it a popular entry point for visitors to the city.
