Miami International Airport (MIA) is the primary airport serving the Miami metropolitan area in Florida, United States. It is one of the busiest airports in the country, handling over 45 million passengers annually.

MIA is located about eight miles (13 km) northwest of downtown Miami, and has three main terminals and four runways. The airport is served by more than 100 airlines, including major carriers such as American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines.
