Norwegian Air, officially known as Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, is a well-known low-cost airline based in Norway. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Norwegian Air was one of the largest airlines in Scandinavia and Europe, operating both domestic and international flights.
Norwegian Air gained popularity for its affordable fares and extensive route network. It offered flights to numerous destinations across Europe, as well as to North America, Asia, and the Middle East. The airline operated both short-haul flights within Europe and long-haul flights to intercontinental destinations.
Norwegian Air faced financial difficulties in recent years, particularly exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the aviation industry. In early 2021, the airline underwent a significant restructuring process, including the discontinuation of its long-haul operations and a focus on its core European routes.

About Norwegian’s Baggage Policy
Passengers are permitted carry-on and checked baggage on flights with Norwegian, however, there are baggage policies put in place regarding the weight and size of your baggage.
Carry-on Baggage
Norwegian also offers passengers to bring one carry-on bag in the cabin free of charge. This is limited to 10 kg for LowFare, LowFare+, Premium and to 15kg for Flex and PremiumFlex. Whereas Dubai flights are limited to 8 kg. Additionally, passengers can bring 1 small personal item onboard.
Checked Baggage
For checked baggage, all flights (excluding long haul) no bags are included for LowFare, one bag of up to 20kg for LowFare + Flex Fare.
For international flights, no bags are included in LowFare, one checked bag of 20kg is allowed for LowFare+ and Flex, Premium and PremiumFlex passengers are allowed two bags of 20 kg per bag.
Checked Baggage Prices
Checked baggage prices will depend entirely on the route flown, whether the flight is direct and what time of the year the flight is flown in.

You can check in at the airport for Norwegian flights by either using the Norwegian check-in counter or using Norwegian’s self-service check-in kiosks. If you plan to check in at the airport, you must check in at least one hour before your scheduled flight time.
